Addicted To The Drama? Stop Wasting Your Energy
Ever noticed some people seem to be ADDICTED to drama?
- Arguing online
- Falling out with people in person
- Gossiping
- On the ‘attack’ all of the time
- Always caught up in some kinda of sh1te
Man, that used to be me you know….
Fell out with people all the time
Friends, family members, colleagues, peers
I’d use a LOT of energy on that stuff
Felt like I was constantly trying to prove something
Prove myself right
People other people wrong
Its like a fire…
The more fuel you add to it… the bigger it gets….
And sometimes in can get out of control
Burning YOU and your energy
And burning relationships to the ground
Eeuwwwww
Then, one day…
I realised that it was EXHAUSTING
And that it was ME that was causing it
EVEN IF someone else ‘started it’
>>> See, drama takes TWO people minimum <<<
Which means that if you’re in drama, you’re CONSENTING to it
Mad, right?
So how do we STOP getting sucked in and drawn in to dramatic stuff?
Well, using the fire analogy
THE FIRE WILL GO OUT WHEN YOU STOP POURING FUEL ON IT
Which means, just disengage when you’ve had enough
THE ENERGY AND TIME YOU’LL SAVE IS MAD
