From goals to actions: overcoming self-sabotage for long-term fulfilment

A couple of years back
I put together an audio book called “How To End Self-Sabotage”
Its a banger….
I’d consider myself a bit of an expert on it (I mean, I wrote a book on it, after all)
But I’ve also experienced it PERSONALLY
And helped THOUSANDS handled it and resolve it
Particularly the guys and girls I’ve coached inside of my Unstoppable28 programme
But I’ve been getting asked a lot of questions about
A- what is self-sabotage
B- WHY we do it
So lets go into it
So what IS self-sabotage?
Essentially its when you take ACTIONS that DON’T ALIGN with your goals and what you say you won’t do
WHY Do we self-sabotage?
You might not like this [tough shit ha]
But we self-sabotage because the thing we CHOOSE TO DO… makes us FEEL BETTER
In other words…
We see MORE BENEFIT in the moment than DRAWBACKS in the moment
So we choose SHORT TERM gratification over LONG TERM fulfilment
That’s the bottom line of the what and the why
