The Value of Paying for Expertise: My Response to Free vs. Paid Training

I had a little bit of ye olde resistance writing this email

(which probably means its the RIGHT thing to do)

anyhoo....

Last week a guy commented on a video I did about that whole Wakey Wines/Prime Energy drink thing

the guy in question later apologised

(fair play to him)

but he basically said this. In fact, here are his EXACT words (most people would NOT share this kinda stuff)

“Your the biggest fraudster going. Paul the scammer mort”

I had to look BEYOND the fake account and the embarrassing spelling to ask him a question

I said “Name ONE person I’ve ‘scammed’ out of the thousands I’ve worked with”

The response.

TUMBLEWEED. NOTHING. NADA.

See, I’m SERIOUS about what I do and what we do WORKS… (when the person works, of course)

And I VALUE MYSELF, my time and my expertise… and I’m worth EVERY PENNY I charge for coaching…

But this guy thinks I should be doing EVERYTHING for free… like he goes to work for free (HE DOESN’T, of course)

What’s really going on here is this >>

This guy wants to work with me (I actually know who it is)

But he doesn’t have the money… he told me he spends his money on booze and cocaine

And instead of just OWNING that… he’s trying to blame ME

I get it. It’s EASY to call someone a fraudster… and it’d HARD to admit your life is your responsibility

I get it, I’ve done it too

But the thing is…

I've put out over 200 videos packed with useable tips on social media

THOUSANDS of posts and daily emails

200+ free podcasts jam packed with inspiration

- DAILY Q and A’s on Instagram
- MULTIPLE free online workshops
- ALL FOR FREE

and you know what?

thats EXACTLY why I charge (what i'm worth) for my seminars, coaching and courses

because the thing is, even though I've put out HUNDREDS of hours worth of free trainings

this fella (and most other people) do NOTHING with it

NOT because its not useful but BECAUSE ITS FREE

and because its free << it holds no value to them

read it again, my mate ^^^

theres an old saying

"People that pay, pay attention"

why?

well its simple. When you INVEST in anything (in this case yourself) you WANT a RETURN on that investment

its natural, human nature

therefore you're extraordinarily likely to DO SOMETHING WITH WHAT YOU LEARN

and in return- EXPERIENCE A DRAMATIC UPGRADE IN YOUR LIFE
