Literally JUST got off a zoom call with some of my clients
Spent a bit of time coaching my guy Brian.. the guys a G
Who was staying he was having some challenges staying positive and on track with things
He was ‘drifting’ a little bit
Which is TOTALLY normal BTW
So I asked him if he’d used my guided ‘6 phase meditation’
Which is PERFECT for getting your mind back on track and in a positive, empowered and confident place
And he hadn’t
Just because he found it ‘tricky’
Which I totally got
But you know why it was particularly tricky?
He’d only done it once
And just like ANYTHING
You’ll ONLY GET BETTER WITH PRACTICE
Isn’t it amazing how much we ‘give up’ on things just because we’re not very good at it
How often we quit on things because they’re not as easy as we thought they would be
Or harder than we thought
Happens all the time
Exercise we haven’t done before= hard. So we quit
Meditation we’ve hardly harder then we thought= quit
Journalling not easy= quit
And then we complain and wonder why we don’t make progress
The truth?
YOU ONLY GET GOOD AT WHAT YOU PRACTICE
So if you want to get good at
Feeling great
Motivation
Mental positivity
Staying on track
Hitting your goals
THEN YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO PRACTICE
